OUR COMPANY
Kohinoor Raiwind Mills (KRM) is the weaving division of Kohinoor Textile Mills Limited (KTML) and is situated in Raiwind. Since the company’s inception in 1991, the management of KRM has invested in state of the art technology and equipment making it one of the most modern weaving plants in the country. Presently there are 288 wide width air jet looms capable of producing over 35 million linear meters of greige fabric per annum. All 288 looms have been supplied by Picanol (Belgium) and are of following models: Picanol Summum, Picanol Omni plus P800 and Picanol Omni Plus.

CUSTOMER FOCUSED SOLUTIONS
The greige fabric produced at KRM is utilized for home textile products and is manufactured from 100% cotton, organic cotton, cotton blends, tencel, viscose, and other yarns made from several other fibers. The company has earned a place for itself by ensuring accurate lead times providing its customers peace of mind while doing business with KRM.
The company has a diverse customer base with sales in both the local and the International markets. The two main markets for exports are Europe and the US. The business strategy of KRM is to continuously explore new markets whilst ensuring the highest quality standards for all its products.


RESULTS DRIVEN TECHNOLOGY
To ensure optimum quality control, KRM has linked all its preparatory and ancillary equipment to a computer integrated manufacturing system from BARCO (Belgium). This system exercises a quality check through an online computer network at every stage of the manufacturing process starting from the back-up process (sizing & warping) to weaving, inspection and packing.
Production data is updated after every ten seconds in the system. A fully equipped laboratory has also been set up at site for yarn testing. KRM received its ISO 9001 certificate from Lloyds Register Quality Assurance, UK in 1997 and has also been recertified for SA 8000:2008 in 2015. KRM has invested heavily in Information Technology. By employing ERP based on Oracle applications activities relating to finance, inventory control, procurement, shipping, marketing, costing etc are all online.
Presently the company has 950 employees and has also been awarded by the Country’s stock exchange for its outstanding performance and sales.

KRM in line with its commitment to environmental concerns attained Environmental Management System (EMS) ISO 14001:2004 Certification from Lloyds Register Quality Assurance, UK in 2010. The Company is also certified for OEKO-Tex and Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS).
