Mr. Tajammal Hussain Bokharee got his graduate degree from the University of the Punjab. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Bankers, Pakistan and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London.

He started his banking career in 1966 as Management Trainee in Standard Chartered Bank, London, Paris and Rotterdam. Since January 1967 to April 2009, he served in various banks of the country including Standard Chartered Bank and National Bank of Pakistan. His diversified experience spanned over 43 years at leading local and foreign banks including Malaysia and UAE.

Mr. Bokharee has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sindh Bank Limited and as a director in several companies including SIEMENS Pakistan Limited, Pakistan PPTA Limited, Escorts Investment Bank Limited, National Bank Modaraba, Pakistan Electron Limited, Sapphire Textile Mills Limited & Nagina Cotton Mills Limited. He is also a certified director from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.

During his varied banking experience, he played a key role in developing policies, improving strategies together with upgrading the systems and procedures. Presently, he serves as an Independent Director and is the Chairman of Audit Committees of Waves Corporation Limited & Waves Home Appliances Limited.
